I found an old, abandoned building today so my homey girl, I’m calling her “Yoyo Jill-Z” these days, agreed to come watch my back while I climbed through the gates and up a dark stairwell. Actually, I made her go first – hey, I’m no fool! When we got upstairs, we found a bright red heart…and a few other things!

GG Sunrise

Cavalo Point Pier (San Francisco)

I was sitting in early morning traffic when, without thinking, I randomly took an exit that I’ve rarely taken before…and before i knew it, I was hopping over rocks and stepping around seagull poop – in heels and a business suit. It was too early for the tourists so I had the beach all to myself! Nice way to start the day…but tomorrow I think I’ll sleep in.

Late night dancing after dinner with my girls. It was super fun but I was exhausted today so a long drive in the countryside is about all i could muster. Saw this little place in a small town along the way.

The Commute

The Commute (Bay Area, CA)

A few days ago I took some shots of a homeless man napping under a tree so I thought it was only fair that today I post a shot of a gainfully employed man napping on the commuter boat – there’s plenty of folks striking this pose each day on our way home!

Sweet Rides

Vintage LaSalle (Bay Area, CA)

There’s a vintage car show is in town this weekend. I only know what kind of car this is because the license plate told me it was a LaSalle, and because there was a bunch of guys ooohing and ahhhing over this being the ‘cleanest LaSalle they’ve ever seen!” I’ve got no clue about the one below.

Another Nap

Another Nap (San Francisco, CA)

This fellow was napping in the Chinatown park where the Asian women generally won’t let me photograph them. But when I focused on this guy, they were all giggles. Not sure whether they were laughing at him, laughing at me taking a photo of him, or simply glad I wasn’t pointing my camera at them!
